How It Works

This is our way of saying: Your time matters as much as your build.
Guaranteed Completion & Delay details
Whitley Builders Limited guarantees to complete the Works within the Contract Duration as defined in the Building Contract.
In the event that Practical Completion is not achieved by the agreed Completion Date, and where such delay is not caused by:
- Client variations or instructions
- Delays in client-supplied information, approvals, or payments
- Force majeure events
- Adverse weather conditions beyond reasonable industry norms
- Statutory authority delays
Whitley Builders Limited shall pay the Client liquidated damages in the sum of £1,000 (one thousand pounds) per week for each full week of delay, capped at a maximum period to be defined in the Contract Particulars.
This sum represents a genuine pre-estimate of loss and shall be the Client’s sole remedy for delay.
